WHY SHOULD IT MATTER
if I put the salad dressing on my salad after the croutons?
So I am at the salad bar at Wendy's and this guy comes up to me and says that I should put the dressing on first so that the croutons have something to cling to. I looked at him incredulously and tell him to blow.
So I'm eating my salad and contemplating the order of the universe...and I came to this conclusion...croutons are happy to be in ANY salad whether you smother them with dressing....or you let them rest securely on top hanging onto dear life as you walk back to your table from the salad bar.

Either way....my cholestrol level's too high and I shouldn't be eating breads anyway. They should serve Beer at Wendy's.
